José Manuel Reynosa Fariñas is an Italian designer of Cuban origin, renowned for his exceptional ability to merge technical precision with sophisticated elegance. A graduate in engineering from the University of Genoa, José Manuel initially built a prominent career as a master mariner, having graduated from Cuba’s esteemed Naval Academy in 1999. Despite his maritime achievements, his passion for footwear design emerged in the early 2000s, inspired by the vibrant fashion and nightlife of Milan.

Focusing on the art of heel design, José Manuel dedicated himself to creating original concepts that combine structural innovation with refined aesthetics. His work reflects a deep connection to his maritime roots, often drawing subtle inspiration from the sea. After years of developing his craft in specialized design and engineering, he has now decided to present his creations to a wider audience, offering a unique perspective in the world of luxury footwear.

Now based in Europe, where he has established his home, José Manuel has also nurtured a parallel passion for writing, with over 10 published books to his credit. His ability to excel in both technical and creative fields highlights his multifaceted talent, making him a distinctive figure in contemporary design.
